About The Position

Responsible for Proxy Teams processing of custody clients Voting. The Proxy Team ensures distribution of meeting notification through Vote Confirmation for all Clients holdings. This will include monitoring of vote submission, confirmation of voting, meeting documentation and Client inquiries. Focus will mainly be around processing Clients Power of Attorney documents, monitoring vendor meeting creation and voting are completed accurately and timely. An ideal candidate has experience and understands all aspects of Proxy Voting and can utilize internal SSB and external relationships to troubleshoot instruction related issues. Requirements

• subject matter expert within the Proxy space

Nice To Haves

• B.S. degree in accounting or Finance preferred
• Shareholder/Proxy Voting mechanics understanding preferred
• Knowledge of securities language preferred
• Experience around custody/accounting systems preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication ability
