About The Position

Zayo is seeking a strategic, results-driven marketing leader to oversee Brand, Content, and Creative Services. This role will shape how Zayo shows up in the market - driving awareness, engagement, and differentiation through bold storytelling, cohesive brand experiences, and compelling creative execution. As Director, Brand, Content & Creative Services, you will define and activate our brand strategy across all channels, lead our content marketing programs, and manage the creative engine that brings Zayo's story to life. You'll partner across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership to ensure every touchpoint reinforces our brand purpose and fuels measurable growth in awareness, engagement, and pipeline.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in B2B marketing, with deep expertise in brand strategy, content marketing, and creative direction.
  • Proven track record of developing integrated brand and content programs that drive measurable impact.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading internal teams and agency partners.
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Data-informed decision-making mindset with a passion for creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve Zayo's brand architecture, positioning, and visual identity to ensure consistency and differentiation across all customer touchpoints.
  • Drive execution of brand campaigns that elevate awareness across our full product portfolio and align to enterprise growth priorities.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure brand alignment across communications, product launches, and digital channels.
  • Steward Zayo's voice, tone, and storytelling standards to maintain a unified and authentic brand experience.
  • Develop and execute the content strategy and editorial roadmap to support key business objectives - from awareness to lead engagement and conversion.
  • Create high-value, data-driven, and actionable content for diverse audiences across verticals, products, and buying stages.
  • Integrate content across marketing campaigns, aligning closely with Revenue Marketing, ABM, and Product teams to drive engagement and pipeline.
  • Monitor and optimize content performance using analytics to inform continuous improvement and ROI tracking.
  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team, including writers, designers, and external agencies, to deliver impactful and on-brand assets across all channels.
  • Manage the end-to-end creative production process - from concept to delivery - ensuring high-quality output, efficient workflows, and on-time execution.
  • Oversee creative resourcing, prioritization, and agency partnerships to maximize effectiveness and agility.
  • Foster collaboration between creative, digital, and campaign teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and visual excellence.
  • Partner with the Digital and Analytics teams to ensure brand and content strategies are grounded in performance insights and customer data.
  • Establish KPIs to measure brand health, content engagement, and creative performance.
  • Continuously evaluate tools, processes, and team structures to enhance efficiency and output quality.
