About The Position

As the Sr Director / Director, Brand & Communications, you will be responsible for defining, shaping, and amplifying the SmartRecruiters brand across multiple channels and audiences. You will own brand strategy, our corporate messaging framework, Global PR strategy and execution, end to end content strategy and execution for all audiences, and high-impact brand experiences including Tier 1 industry events, Partner and SAP / SmartRecruiters owned events. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, executive communications, the SmartRecruiters marketing leadership team including demand, product marketing and regional marketing teams, as well as SAP global leadership teams to drive both prospect and customer community and engagement and ensure integration, alignment and impact on our corporate goals.

Requirements

  • Expertise across all key channels of the corporate communications functions - PR, Brand Strategy, Content, Events, Brand Management and Activation, SEO, Social
  • Proven ability to operate at the executive leadership team (ELT) level, driving cross-functional projects and communicating complex GTM and performance strategies to executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of team KPIs and OKRs, and experience implementing multi-touch attribution models.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders.
  • A track record of building and leading high-performing, diverse marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Management
  • Develop and execute an integrated 360 degree brand and communication strategy that includes media, industry analysts, influencers, employees, users, and partners.
  • Lead the development and execution of our brand strategy and messaging at every customer touch point, ensuring consistency and integrity. The role is end to end, strategy development, through creative execution and design,
  • Work closely with your SAP counterparts to build a cohesive multiyear integration strategy that accelerates and amplifies our collective brand in the HCM market,
  • Global Communications and Thought Leadership
  • Oversee a global content strategy that supports our customers and prospects buying journey, with the goal of accelerating each stage to drive pipeline, cross-sell/up-sell and revenue.
  • Partner across the marketing organization to bring the brand and content strategy to life, ensuring key performance indicators are met - including SEO / GEO ranking and traffic, conversion, MQL, Opportunities, Pipeline and Revenue.
  • Manage a team of PR, content, and experiential marketing professionals, ensuring full alignment across initiatives, facilitating partnership, speed and agility
  • Lead our social strategy - aligning content, brand and demand to ensure our social media presence globally, across all platforms, drives brand awareness, engagement and ultimately pipeline creation and revenue.
  • Domain Leadership and Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Own relationships with key industry influencers and analysts, ensuring SmartRecruiters is a key voice in HR Tech discussions.
  • Build a best-in-class Brand and Communications team that is data driven and focused on outcomes aligned to our corporate strategy.
  • Oversee major brand initiatives, including product launches, research-driven marketing programs, and high-profile industry events.
  • Select, manage and facilitate collaboration across agencies and contractors as required in support of goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure the brand vision and execution consistently aligns with SR mission, vision, goals. both internally and externally.
  • Stay on top of best practices, trends and technology and bring innovative solutions to address challenges.
