About The Position

The Director of Benefits leads a team responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Baptist Health benefit programs. The role is responsible for overseeing the implementation, reporting, invoicing, communicating, and compliance of Baptist Health and welfare benefit programs. The Director will ensure benefit programs are compliant with all federal and state regulations and developing procedures documenting adherence. Works with vendors and internal departments (i.e. HRIS, legal) to administer efficient, accurate, and compliant benefit programs. Integral part of Total Rewards leadership team, reporting to the VP of Total Rewards.

Requirements

  • 7 + years Benefits Experience Required
  • 3-5 Years Management Experience Required
  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Master's Degree
  • Certified Benefits Professional Preferred
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) Preferred
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Preferred
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Preferred
