About The Position

At Deaconess Memorial Medical Center, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality behavioral health care that strengthens individuals, families, and our community. We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Director of Behavioral Health Services to lead our growing behavioral health programs. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the administration and operations of our 10-bed inpatient behavioral health unit, outpatient behavioral health services, and community and hospital-wide engagement related to behavioral health initiatives. The Director will champion collaboration among hospital departments, providers, and community partners to enhance access, improve patient outcomes, and promote the integration of behavioral health throughout the continuum of care. Requirements

Master's degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Health Administration, or a related field required; licensure in a behavioral health discipline preferred.
Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health, including oversight of inpatient and/or outpatient services.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage providers, hospital leaders, and community partners around shared goals.
Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, quality improvement, and innovative approaches to behavioral health delivery.
