Role Overview The Director - Behavorial Health oversees the full management of Behavioral Health Services including administrative supervision, program planning, fiscal oversight, data-driven quality improvement, timely reporting, budget management, and comprehensive people leadership while directing a team that provides therapeutic counseling and performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) in a related field of study 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Prior experience with program management including supervision of staff and budget oversight.
  • LCSW/LCPC
  • 3 years of clinical and administrative management experience and 5 years of therapeutic experience with children and youth.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) in a related field of study 5+ years relevant experience
  • Previous program management of multiple programs and multiple teams. Previous budget oversight of >$1,000,000
  • MSW
  • 7-10 years of clinical and administrative management experience and 8 years of therapeutic experience with children and youth.
  • LCSW/LCPC, CADC

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for overall management of Behavioral Health Services, providing administrative supervision, planning, programming, and fiscal management. Oversees team that provides therapeutic counseling services to identified program clients.
  • Maintains statistical data and reviews data to ensure quality service provision, implements enhancements in programming, and identifies trends and opportunities for program development. Ensures monthly, quarterly, and annual reports are prepared and delivered on time.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors program budget; makes adjustments as needed in order to maintain fiscal integrity.
  • Provide effective people leadership by setting clear direction, supporting staff development through training and coaching, actively participating in recruitment and selection, managing performance, addressing staff concerns, and applying appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
