The person in this position must have the ability to develop and implement strategic plans, as well as set and achieve goals that align with the overall organization. This position oversees multiple departments within the Auto Claims operation and requires someone who is very collaborative and sets high standards of performance for self and subordinates. Nice To Haves

  • Management experience in automotive warranty operations preferred.
  • Background in team building and training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal claims personnel and oversee third-party administrators to achieve high standards of productivity, efficiency, and alignment of organizational goals.
  • Directs assigned departments within claims operations, establishes objectives that align with Amynta’s business plans, and provides direction and support to ensure organization and client goals are met.
  • Develops workforce plans to manage the operations through cyclical consumer buying cycles, streamlines processes and recommends practices that ensure high quality customer service and efficient claims processing.
  • Ensure the functional performance of the claims operation by leading and supporting the development and implementation of claims best practices, operating models, and customer service standards.
  • Evaluates ongoing performance metrics and trends and determines appropriate action to ensure performance results.
  • Monitors losses and sensitive claims, including settlements and litigation, and escalates issues promptly.
  • Monitors and analyzes risk; prepares reports and presents to management.
  • Plans, develops, and implements projects, processes, and technology to continuously improve the claims operation.
  • Responsible for working with CIO and other IT staff to optimize technology.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, federal, and state regulations related to claims while minimizing risk/exposure to the organization.
