Director, ASIC Design-For-Test
About The Position
Acacia, part of Cisco, specializes in high-speed optical interconnect solutions for communications networks. Our products and technologies enable high-capacity, long-distance data transmission over fiber optic cables, supporting the backbone of the internet, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale data centers. We are seeking a DFT Director who will be responsible for leading a team of Design-For-Test engineers in the development of cutting-edge ASICs for multi-100G to 1.6T coherent optical communications products. The team currently supports multiple projects and consists of approximately a five full time staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronic or Electrical Engineering with 15 or more years of industry experience
- Minimum five years of experience with managing direct reports
- Experience with the latest ASIC DFT methodologies (including JTAG, boundary scan, EDT scan ATPG, MBIST/MBISR), tools and scripting/programming languages

Responsibilities
- Allocate team resources across multiple projects and prioritize deliverables
- In-depth technical leadership on DFT processes and methods
- Work with senior staff on enhancements to infrastructure and methodology
- Manage test pattern development and post-silicon ATE debug
- Recruit additional DFT staff engineers and manage contract resources
- Monitor the team performance and conduct annual reviews
- Work with chip leads to estimate DFT portion of schedules
