In this role, you will work in an Agile development environment to bring the designs and ideas to life for new or improved products and web applications. This work will support a mix of internal and external clients. You will be working on current and upcoming projects that connect design, engineering, product development, and implementation to understand how those pieces impact infrastructure. You'll share your operational and process maturity with a growing team while building products for large enterprises to enable their workforce. No two days are the same as you work with your team, business leaders, and project management to understand our next wave of work. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be a cloud-native with a solid understanding of technologies, including APIs, distributed systems design, operational scaling and availability, and application integrations. Java and enterprise Java with open source tools, Java 8 or later (preferred language), and AWS are critical. You have experience working full stack with front-end, scripting, and back-end experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive software development experience
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management role, with experience leading development teams
  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects in an enterprise environment
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java and enterprise Java frameworks or Node JS
  • Hands-on experience with Java 8 or later versions
  • Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform
  • Proficiency in full-stack development including front-end technologies, scripting languages, and back-end systems
  • Solid understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and microservices architecture
  • Experience with distributed systems design and implementation
  • Knowledge of operational scaling, high availability, and performance optimization
  • Experience with open source tools and frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with application integration patterns and enterprise architecture
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire technical teams
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to work across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working with business leaders and project management teams
  • Track record of building and retaining high-performing teams
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities
  • Experience serving both internal and external clients
