About The Position

Founders 3 provides world-class real estate management services, including pre-development consultation, full-service property management, accounting, and maintenance. The company is seeking a Director of Apartment Operations to join its leadership team. This key leader will interact with all facets of the division, working alongside the Director of Leasing. The role involves leading a team of Property Managers (currently 10) and being responsible for the operational and financial performance of the apartment management segment of the business.

Requirements

• Team player with strong leadership skills
• Ability to lead a regional team
• Minimum of 10 years in the property management industry
• Relationship building and customer service experience
• Capability to adapt to a fast-paced business environment
• Strong budgeting skills and financial acumen with the ability to analyze financials, revenue streams and overall budgeting and recommend improvements or areas for opportunity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products
• Working knowledge of property management software

• ARM certification
• Bachelor’s degree
• Yardi software experience

Responsibilities

• Oversight and coaching of Property Managers to ensure operational and financial performance goals of the properties are met
• Managing client/owner and tenant relationships
• Taking the lead in the successful hiring, coaching and oversight of Property Managers
• Leading the onboarding of new properties or customers in conjunction with other leaders
• Coordinate efforts with key corporate teams to include Marketing, Human Resources, Property Accounting and Senior Leadership
• Review, update and lead the training efforts for the division (F3 University)
• Participate in consulting and new business development efforts
