About The Position

The Director of AMER Partner Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the AMER partner marketing strategy to accelerate joint pipeline growth, strengthen partner relationships, and drive market impact through strategic alliances and channel partners. This leader will build scalable partner programs, co-marketing campaigns, and go-to-market motions that generate revenue, increase partner engagement, and elevate Digital Realty brand presence in the partner ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with10+ years of B2B marketing experience with 5+ years in partner/channel/alliance marketing leadership -- preferably in the data center, telecommunications, IT, or technology sectors.
  • Proven experience driving pipeline through partner ecosystems (technology alliances, OEM, VARs, MSPs, and/or channel).
  • Strong understanding of B2B buying cycles, enterprise marketing, and co-selling environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategy and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional relationship-builder with cross-functional influence skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, MDF, and performance-based partner investments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience managing marketing analytics and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills; executive presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the AMER partner marketing strategy aligned to revenue, partner, and Digital Realty business objectives.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing partner marketing team.
  • Define the AMER partner marketing framework, investment strategy, and annual calendar of activities.
  • Align closely with Channel & Alliance leadership, Sales, Global Marketing and Product Marketing to execute effective partner marketing strategies.
  • Design and operationalize scalable partner marketing programs, including MDF strategy, enablement, and co-marketing execution aligned to regional revenue goals.
  • Collaborate to create partner joint value propositions, positioning frameworks, and messaging aligned to customer use cases and industry trends.
  • Lead program development for strategic partner tiers (e.g., Global Alliances, OEMs, NSPs, VARs, Channel).
  • Own partner communications strategy, including newsletters, updates, launch materials, and engagement plans.
  • Develop and execute joint demand-generation campaigns with partners to drive qualified pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Launch integrated programs including ABM, field marketing alignment, webinars, events, digital campaigns, and content syndication.
  • Collaborate cross regionally partner to create consistent partner marketing activation globally.
  • Support partner-driven product launches, solution narratives, and joint value propositions.
  • Build and activate scalable partner toolkits, playbooks, and marketing assets.
  • Enable partners through training, messaging, and campaign-in-a-box programs.
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadence to measure impact: pipeline contribution, partner engagement, campaign performance, ROI.
  • Optimize investments and program performance through insights and analytics.
