Summary The Director of Ambulatory Quality and Population Health Analytics leads analytics business enablement across UNC Health Alliance (UNCHA), UNC Health's Clinically Integrated Network and Population Health Services Organization. Working closely with UNCHA's Health Informatics Medical Director and the VP for Practice Quality and Innovation, this individual is responsible for developing advanced internal and external analytic tools that secure top-decile performance in value-based contracts. Key responsibilities include identifying and promoting analytic standards, procedures, and technologies that improve the accuracy, validity, reliability, timeliness, relevance, and completeness of data critical to the effective, consistent operation and management of UNCHA Value Care contracts, Population Management, and UNC Health ambulatory services. The director collaborates with senior-level staff accountable for daily operations, finance, payer contracts, and quality measures, leading a team of analysts responsible for predictive analytics, business area support, ambulatory organizational goals, and internal customer service. This individual collaborates with UNCHA senior executives in setting strategy and developing business plans, organizational portfolio priorities, and resource allocations necessary to simultaneously deliver current business commitments while developing new organizational capabilities. The ideal candidate is expert in SQL, data warehouse structures, and Epic data sources, claims data sources, claims ingestion, and data transformation processes, while also possessing strategic thinking and excellent communication skills.
