About The Position

Mosaic is Comcast’s AI Strategy & Transformation team, focused on applying AI with purpose to sharpen our competitive edge, transform customer experiences, enhance our products, and empower our employees. As part of Mosaic, the Director, AI Ecosystem Insights & Partnerships will be our front-line explorer of the AI ecosystem. In this role, you will uncover emerging AI trends, scan the external landscape, and build partnerships that position Comcast to lead in a rapidly evolving market. You will translate the fast-moving world of AI into actionable insights and opportunities that influence investment priorities and strategic decisions. Working closely with Lift Labs, Comcast Ventures, and T&P, you will connect with leading and emerging AI companies of all sizes, thought leaders and academics, and AI leaders at major enterprises, forging relationships that accelerate innovation and growth. The Director, AI Ecosystem Insights & Partnerships is a thought leader, connector, and strategist. This role requires someone who thrives on exploring cutting-edge technologies, understands how the AI ecosystem is evolving, and can advise Comcast leaders on where AI trends are headed. You will blend strong AI judgment with deep understanding of media and telecom industry to be able to translate external signals into clear implications for Comcast’s businesses. This is not a passive research role. You will produce actionable insights, build durable external relationships, and help turn market signal into concrete outcomes such as pilots, partnerships, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field strongly preferred
10+ years of relevant experience in strategic partnerships, venture capital, corporate strategy, strategy consulting, or business development, preferably with direct exposure to AI or emerging technologies
Proven experience working with ecosystem partners and understanding how they engage with large enterprises
Demonstrated ability to analyze emerging technology trends and translate them into actionable strategy
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to brief senior leaders with clarity and authority
Demonstrated ability to analyze AI and emerging technology trends and translate them into actionable strategy, including crisp recommendations and scenario thinking
Strong business acumen and financial modeling skills to evaluate opportunities
Ability to balance future vision with present-day realities, making thoughtful trade-offs between risk and opportunity
Collaborative leader comfortable working across functions and influencing without direct authority

Responsibilities

Monitor the AI ecosystem by tracking emerging technologies, market shifts, and research breakthroughs to distill noise into meaningful, actionable insights for Comcast leadership
Develop and maintain a structured view of evolving AI themes most relevant to Comcast (for example: agents and automation, multimodal experiences, personalization, ROI measurement, edge AI, network and operations optimization, etc.)
Identify, evaluate, and cultivate strategic partnerships with AI-focused companies, research institutions, and other ecosystem players
Partner with Comcast Ventures and Lift Labs to support their efforts AI investment and startup acceleration efforts
Ground trends in business reality by quantifying impact, sizing opportunities, and mapping implications for Comcast’s lines of business
Represent Comcast in AI industry forums, ecosystem communities, and innovation networks to build our reputation as a leading AI adopter, collaborator, and partner of choice
Provide recommendations to senior leaders on where to invest, partner, or pilot AI initiatives based on market signals
Work with teams across Comcast to align external insights with internal strategy and product roadmaps and operating priorities
Prepare executive-ready presentations, reports, and trend briefings that shape the company’s understanding of AI innovation and where to take action next
