The Director, AI Product Strategy & Governance, is responsible for the definition and delivery of AI products that serve the needs of business lines within the division in which they are embedded. This position owns the successful execution of all elements in the product lifecycle and defines ongoing strategic direction of AI enabling services and products within the entire portfolio. This position works in close coordination with the Technology Product organization and key stakeholders from business verticals. The Director, AI Product Strategy & Governance plays a key role in defining the strategy and closely following up with stakeholders on execution. This position may be based in eligible jurisdictions in the Eastern time zone of the United States and reports to the Senior Head, AI Enablement & Delivery. What You’ll Do As a Director, Product Strategy and Governance, you will have the opportunity to: Work closely with stakeholders to develop product strategies and champion new revenue and optimization opportunities. Be a passionate advocate for the products in your portfolio and articulate their business value to all levels of the organization. Define and evolve the product roadmap for enterprise federated search and agentic control plane. Analyze AI market dynamics and emerging trends to understand how they shape enterprise adoption, stakeholder expectations, and purchasing decisions for AI platforms, products, and services. Collaborates with cross‑functional stakeholders to define and operationalize AI policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to responsible AI principles, regulatory requirements, and enterprise risk management standards. Understand user needs, identify dependencies across other portfolios and platforms, and incorporate those requirements into product design and function. Formulate product plans that align with business objectives and own the delivery roadmaps. Establish and maintain effective relationships with key partners across the organization such as product marketing, sales, and customer support to develop effective go-to-market strategies, sales readiness, and product-launch activities. Establish product goals and monitor performance metrics (KPIs, usage statistics, etc.) and leverage data to inform future product improvements and decisions. Serve as a key interface into product development and stay actively involved with developers and designers to drive the launch and ongoing development of product. Demonstrate fiscal responsibility in managing budgets and support business case development. Lead cross-functional product teams, coach and mentor associates within the product group, and play a role in upskilling activities. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 10+ years of experience in product management (or equivalent) with a strong focus on AI-powered products and platforms, ideally within EdTech, learning. Must demonstrate outstanding judgment and mature business skills with the ability to establish a strong rapport with senior management. Ability to create new and unique product ideas that motivate and inspire others, and drive ideas from conception through implementation. Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to ask questions rather than just follow directions. Experience leading and managing other product specialists/consultants and working on cross-functional product teams. Experience launching global products to multinational audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills including professional and diplomatic demeanor. Fluency in English required, knowledge of additional languages would be useful. All salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience, education, and other factors relevant to the position.
