About The Position

Paysafe is seeking Director, AI-Driven & Customer Engagement Marketing to join our Global Marketing Centre of Excellence, reporting to the Senior Director of the Centre of Excellence. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee the Marketing Customer Engagement team across all consumer and B2B brands within the Paysafe portfolio. As a key driver of customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value, you’ll champion best-in-class practices, marketing automation, and AI-powered personalization. Acting as the primary point of contact across the business for engagement initiatives, you’ll collaborate closely with MarTech, Product, Analytics, Creative, and Marketing teams to deliver impactful strategies. The AI component of this role is pivotal focused on elevating engagement capabilities through personalization, predictive lead scoring, content generation, automated journey optimization, and AI-driven email template creation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience in lieu of education).
  • 5+ years of Salesforce Data360 (Previously Data Cloud) experience from strategy to implementation and measurement
  • 7+ years of experience in customer engagement, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation, ideally within a global, multi‑brand organization.
  • 3+ years of proven leadership experience, including setting strategy and driving execution for engagement or lifecycle marketing teams.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technology for marketing automation.
  • Hands‑on expertise with enterprise engagement platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Pardot, Oracle Responsys, or similar.
  • Demonstrated success implementing AI‑driven engagement initiatives, including predictive lead scoring, personalization, automated content, and journey optimization.
  • Deep understanding of data structures, segmentation, scoring models, and multi‑channel lifecycle strategies across email, push, and SMS.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting complex behavioral and engagement data to generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience managing global campaigns across multiple markets and diverse customer segments.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities, able to lead multiple initiatives while maintaining quality and timeliness.
  • Proactive, innovative leader with a passion for AI‑powered personalization and data‑driven marketing excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for global Customer Engagement, ensuring alignment with Paysafe’s commercial and marketing objectives.
  • Act as a senior leader within the Marketing Centre of Excellence, influencing enterprise-wide strategies and representing engagement priorities at the executive level.
  • Own the engagement and AI innovation roadmap, driving transformation across consumer and B2B brands.
  • Serve as the primary business leader for engagement initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment and accountability.
  • Champion AI adoption across engagement programs, introducing advanced personalization, predictive analytics, dynamic content generation, and automated journey orchestration.
  • Lead the integration of AI technologies into marketing automation frameworks, ensuring scalability and measurable impact.
  • Drive continuous innovation, evaluating emerging AI tools and best practices to maintain Paysafe’s leadership in marketing technology.
  • Collaborate at an executive level with MarTech, Product, Analytics, Creative, and Marketing leadership to embed AI-driven engagement strategies into broader initiatives.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure engagement programs deliver measurable business outcomes and customer value.
  • Oversee global multi-channel campaigns (email, push, SMS), leveraging AI-driven segmentation and predictive modeling to maximize engagement, retention, and ROI.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics, using AI-powered analytics to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, data privacy, and brand standards, while implementing ethical AI practices across all engagement activities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global team, mentoring senior managers and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Develop future leaders, ensuring succession planning and capability building within the engagement function.
