About The Position

The Enterprise Director plays a critical leadership role within Gen3 Marketing, reporting into the Senior Director and overseeing the successful execution of enterprise level client strategies, performance standards, operational processes, and team development. This role is responsible for driving performance, profitability, and long-term growth across complex, high value enterprise affiliate programs, while ensuring exceptional delivery quality and client satisfaction. The Enterprise Director also leads multilayered teams, monitors enterprise portfolio performance, and ensures strategic alignment with broader organizational goals. · Oversees: Associate Directors, Sr. / Affiliate Managers · Reports to: Senior Director

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day health, performance, and growth of assigned enterprise client portfolios, ensuring retention, revenue expansion, and margin protection.
  • Lead enterprise level onboarding strategies, ensuring cross functional alignment and readiness for complex program launches.
  • Participate in and shape enterprise level annual plans and QBRs, contributing strategic insights and performance narratives tailored to executive stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular executive caliber client touchpoints, synthesizing insights and presenting forward looking recommendations that reinforce enterprise partnership value.
  • Coach, mentor, and support in-line team members (AC/AAM/AM/SAM) to foster growth within their accounts and roles.
  • Develop Associate Directors and Sr. Managers to operate at enterprise standards, including advanced analytics, forecasting discipline, and strategic storytelling.
  • Host weekly one-on-ones with direct reports to foster professional relationships, support employee growth, and review account performance against enterprise-level KPIs.
  • Ensure team readiness to manage complex enterprise programs, including training on attribution, incrementality, publisher mix analysis, and advanced optimization frameworks.
  • Work collaboratively to translate the company’s vision and goals into tactical solutions and results.
  • Guide teams in building enterprise-grade action plans, ensuring alignment with forecasting, pacing, and strategic priorities.
  • Review delivery team reports and summaries to stay abreast of program performance and progress in relation to action plans and KPIs, providing feedback and guidance on areas of improvement.
  • Validate the quality and accuracy of enterprise performance insights, ensuring Directors and Managers deliver clear insights → strategy → action narratives.
  • Act as a point of escalation to help team members troubleshoot and resolve client, program, and publisher-related issues and team member challenges.
  • Identify enterprise level risks early (tracking issues, publisher churn, budget shifts, competitive pressure) and develop scenario based contingency plans.
  • Provide appropriate transparency to keep the Senior Director informed of account status, wins/losses, client satisfaction, concerns, or red flags.
  • Escalate and execute on all areas of concern in relation to client and/or individual performance issues to the Senior Director.
  • Partner with analytics, finance, and media planning teams to ensure enterprise affiliate strategies align with broader business priorities.
  • Identify industry trends and make recommendations to leadership for new and creative ways to improve, automate, and streamline services.
  • Identify and proactively promote opportunities to offer clients additional Gen3 services.
  • Accountable for team staffing, bandwidth, and program allocation.
  • Lead forecasting and pacing discipline across enterprise accounts, ensuring assumptions, risk buffers, and investment decisions are sound.
  • Manage delivery teams’ P&L as it relates to department goals, targets, and forecasting, with heightened responsibility for enterprise margin protection.
  • Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding of team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Support succession planning and development of future enterprise-ready leaders.
  • Assist Biz Dev with ad hoc projects including case studies and proposals.
  • Assist Delivery Leaders with ad hoc projects (white papers, blog posts, client testimonials, etc.).
  • Respect and maintain all role specific work quality standards, best practices, and procedures outlined by Delivery Leaders and Operations Teams.
  • Assess and support client contract renewals, amendments, and potential renegotiations.
  • Drive enterprise client allocation growth, ensuring programs scale sustainably and profitably.
  • Accountable for client retention and long-term enterprise partnership health.
