As a Director of Advancement, you will serve as a key revenue leader on the Advancement Team, which raises $40 million annually in support of BGCP’s mission. This role carries primary geographic responsibility for the Mid and North Peninsula region, with selective coverage in the South Peninsula. The Director will focus on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors with a core giving range of $10,000–$50,000 annually, while strategically identifying and developing prospects with the capacity to make transformational gifts of $100,000+. In addition, the Director will activate and lead a North County Task Force of donors and Board members and provide visible leadership across key regional engagement and fundraising events. The ideal candidate is a highly relational, strategic fundraiser who thrives in face-to-face engagement, proactively builds new networks, and drives revenue growth through disciplined portfolio management. This individual must be able to articulate a compelling case for both unrestricted and program-specific support and confidently represent BGCP across diverse audiences. Reporting to the Vice President, Advancement, this role partners closely with the CEO, Board members, and senior leadership to expand BGCP’s philanthropic footprint across the Peninsula.
