About The Position

Domo's AI and Data Products Platform lets people channel AI and data into innovative uses that deliver a measurable impact. Anyone can use Domo to prepare, analyze, visualize, automate, and build data products that are amplified by AI. This position requires you to be in office 5 days a week. Domo’s Director, Account Development is responsible for overseeing the development and performance of an Account Development teams activities, including recruiting staff, directing the team, and establishing strategic plans to achieve maximum profits. This includes following up on marketing generated responses, new market penetration, calling on decision makers, scrubbing data lists, webinar and event follow-up, and more.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years managing job experience in solutions-based selling process
  • in the software/high tech industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, or similar field OR equivalent professional experience
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
  • Handle high-stress environments while still being able to drive sales teams towards goals
  • Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Previous experience developing strategic business and sales plans
  • Handle details accurately and in a timely matter
  • Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency
  • Proven track record of working with junior sales people and developing skills to drive success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and performance of an Account Development team
  • Strong focus on hiring, training and development of Account Development Managers
  • Plan and execute plans to qualify prospective customers and leads before meeting with Sales Executives
  • Assist in the development of helping customers in understanding Domo’s solution, and how we fit within their current infrastructure and business processes
  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives
  • Ability to understand and drive complex business environments and uncover customer issues
  • Process problems, and translate need into business opportunities
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment while still providing quality opportunities and driving revenue
  • Selfless focus on advancement of reps into new roles at Domo
  • Exceed expectations while aiding the entire organization to do the same.
