About The Position

Sodexo’s Corporate Services Division is seeking a Director of Facilities to lead the mobilization and ongoing management of hard and soft services for a newly acquired Life Sciences site in Cincinnati, OH . This role will oversee the seamless integration of self-delivered and contracted services, including maintenance, grounds, predictive and preventive programs, and property infrastructure. The Director will manage subcontractors, skilled trades, and internal teams while ensuring compliance, budget adherence, and operational excellence. Acting as the primary point of contact for client and internal stakeholders, this leader will drive alignment, foster strong relationships, and deliver measurable results. Strong financial acumen, strategic leadership, and proven experience in multi-service facilities management are essential. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in facilities management, preferably within a life sciences, corporate, or highly regulated environment.
  • Proven expertise in mobilizing and managing multi-service facilities operations, including both self-performed and subcontracted services.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, with demonstrated success in budget development, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full mobilization and transition of facilities services, ensuring operational readiness and successful integration of hard and soft service delivery.
  • Oversee self-delivered and contracted services, including maintenance, engineering, custodial, landscaping, and infrastructure programs, to ensure seamless performance and compliance.
  • Manage and align subcontractors and vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets and forecasts, ensuring fiscal responsibility, cost control, and transparent financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards, maintaining operational excellence across the life sciences environment.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, driving strategic alignment, and ensuring client satisfaction and performance outcomes.
