About Us: ACR Homes provides high-quality home healthcare and support for individuals with disabilities across over 40 locations in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area. We are looking for dedicated Direct Care Professionals (DCPs) for both full-time and part-time positions. Current Priority Opening: We are especially looking to fill a weekday morning shift from 6:00am–8:00am, Monday through Friday . This is a great opportunity for early risers or students looking to work before class!

Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old
You must have a driver’s license and a relatively clean driving record
You must be able and willing to provide care for both male and female clients
You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
You must be able to work independently, and you must have interpersonal skills including empathy, responsibility, self-control, good judgment, and overall adjustment
You must be able to see, hear, speak, interact, and write in English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position
Part-time requires a minimum of 10 shifts/month (2-3 shifts/week) with an increasing number of homes only requiring 2 shifts/week.
Full-time employees must work at least 38-40 hours per week

Responsibilities

Medication Management: Prepare and administer medications (training provided and paid).
Personal Care: Assist with meals, personal hygiene, and use of medical equipment (training provided).
Therapies: Perform range-of-motion exercises and other therapeutic activities.
Activity Planning: Organize and participate in fun activities.
Advocacy: Support clients during doctor appointments.
Relationship Building: Foster positive connections with clients and coworkers.
Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary documentation and reports.
Transportation: Take residents on daily outings (parks, coffeeshop, etc.)
