1:1 Direct Support Professional (Mon-Fri) FT and PT
About The Position
GoodLife Innovations is seeking 1:1 Direct Support Professionals to teach daily living skills, provide care and companionship, and engage in functional activities with specific clients. Are you energetic , reliable , and a self-starter ? Do you want to make a meaningful difference by supporting and caring for an individual client? If so, you may be a great fit for one of our 1:1 DSP positions! As a 1:1 Direct Support Professional , you will work one-on-one with a client assisting with their specific needs. You will provide continuous and high-quality attention, interaction, and engagement with Day Service activities or at-home daily living skills.
Requirements
- Ability to consistently and confidently implement Behavior Support Plans
- Must successfully pass criminal background check
- Must be able to remain calm in escalated situations
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Working one-on-one with a client assisting with their specific needs
- Providing continuous and high-quality attention, interaction, and engagement in activities
- Teaching and reinforcing new skills
- Observing, documenting, and reporting data on daily activities
