About The Position
Mason City, IA 12-Hour Shifts | Sunday through Tuesday Day, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (3 consecutive days) Find a Career That Changes Lives - Including Yours Looking for a meaningful career with stability, purpose, and growth? One Vision is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our new 12-hour night shift schedule in Mason City homes . This schedule is designed with work-life balance in mind: 3 nights on, then the rest of your week is free. As a DSP, you'll make a direct impact every shift, helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live their most independent, fulfilling lives.
Requirements
- Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license & auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and support mobility as needed
- Comfortable using a computer/device for documentation
- Ability to pass background checks and health screenings
- Willing to complete required job training and certifications
- This is a safety-sensitive role
Responsibilities
- Provide support with daily living needs (meals, hygiene, housekeeping, and medications)
- Encourage independence, self-confidence, and personal growth
- Support community involvement and recreational activities
- Drive individuals to appointments, outings, and events
- Keep clear and accurate documentation using electronic systems
- Assist with finances, grocery shopping, and household responsibilities
