As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Options For All, you’ll play a vital role in helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) achieve independence and thrive in their communities. Requirements
- Passion: A desire to empower individuals with I/DD and make a real impact.
- Team Player: Someone who works well with others, takes initiative, and adapts to new situations.
- Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
- Skills: Empathy, patience, and the ability to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Adaptability to address individual’s needs with care and flexibility.
- Basic tech skills (mobile phone use, email, Microsoft, electronic database systems)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in caregiving, social work, life skills coaching, as a teaching assistant or volunteering is a plus but not required.
