About The Position

The Direct Support Professional in the day program is a vital part of the Chrysalis Team, working closely with individuals in a workplace/training setting to ensure their safety, respect, mentorship, and enjoyment. This role involves engaging in various community activities such as movies, fishing, bowling, and games, while also serving as a teacher, mentor, and friend. Direct Support Professionals have a unique opportunity to significantly impact individuals' lives daily by creating opportunities to enhance their quality of life.

Requirements

• Be able to work from 8:00am- 4pm
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
• Must be 21 years of age with a clean driving record or 22 years or older with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form
• Able to complete all assigned program documentation accurately and within the allotted time frames
• Have good judgment and able to handle crisis situations
• Have a positive attitude

Responsibilities
