About The Position

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join us in an exciting new retail setting. This role supports an individual in a small specialty shop environment while helping build independence, job skills, and community involvement.

Requirements

• Must be an eligible driver for RRHSF (at least 25 years old & licensed driver for 5 years) and have a reliable, insured vehicle
• Comfortable driving and transporting individuals
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Punctual and dependable
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Passion for helping individuals reach their goals and be active in the community

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support in a retail/storefront setting
• Assist with daily tasks, organization, and customer interactions
• Support development of social and vocational skills
• Transport the person supported to and from the job and within the community
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Encourage independence while ensuring a safe and positive environment
