About The Position

Self-Direction DSP - Cicero Area (Job #LB-SA) ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Cicero area with a young lady who requires assistance due to a developmental delay. The family is looking for a dedicated staff to provide her with support and assist her with maintaining her independence both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting with independence goals, gym, cooking various activities outside of the home. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, energetic and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Work hours include Wednesday through Friday, starting at 2:30pm for about 3-3.5 hours to a maximum of 10 hours per week. The pay rate is $26 per hour. ARISE/EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements

Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
