About The Position

Living Resources is a non-profit human services agency. We are working with them as partners, providing care and services. Availability: Must be available to work at least one shift on Saturday and/or Sunday weekly. 12 hours minimum weekly and a maximum of 28 hours weekly. Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Valid NYS driver’s license
At least 1 year of experience in an OPWDD services agency or similar.
Must have reliable transportation; this position requires traveling to any of our houses in the following areas: Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga and Rensselaer County Group Homes.

Nice To Haves

H.S. diploma/GED, preferred

Responsibilities

Provide a home-like atmosphere conducive to habilitation, advancement and the well-being of the individual.
Assist each individual in the basic activities of daily living, and improve their social, recreational, and communicative skills for supervised living and functioning within the community.
Assist each individual to achieve his/her maximum growth as a human being and set attainable goals, consistent with his/her potential and treat them with dignity and respect.
Provide quality care to individuals in our care and comply with rules and regulations as well as all agency policies and procedures.
Ongoing completion of required program documentation.
Maintaining general knowledge of individual support plans and needs.
