About The Position

Empowered Services is a one-on-one attendant care agency providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) support and community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in their own homes. Their mission is to support individuals in building independence, engaging in their communities, and living meaningful, self-directed lives. The agency is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide 1:1 in-home care and support for an individual in the Yamhill County area. This role involves supporting daily living activities (ADLs), building a positive, consistent relationship, promoting independence and skill development, administering medications, safely assisting with physical movement, bathroom usage, and tube feeding, and providing safe, attentive, and compassionate care. The position is ideal for someone patient, reliable, and comfortable with hands-on care and medical support needs. The individual to be supported enjoys music, art activities, and interactive play, communicates non-verbally, benefits from structured routines and simple choices, requires hands-on support including mobility assistance and medication administration, and may experience seizures, requiring calm, attentive care. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact through consistent, person-centered support.
