About The Position

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands on care to an individual with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Support Services professionals assist individuals and families living in their personal home.
Services provided are personalized and directed by the individual receiving supports and may include but are not limited to: assistance with personal hygiene, activities/outings, social engagement, and shopping.
The hours for this position are: Monday -Friday 12p - 4p 20 hours/ week

Support staff needed to assist a young man with skills in his home and community. Help to access and engage in meaningful experiences during the day.
Support Services DSP’s receive mileage and activity reimbursements!
Paid trainings, including CPR/First Aid

DSP’s assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by:
Assisting with participation and exploration of the community
Cultivating and expanding independent living skills
Assisting with development of meaningful and personal relationships
Implementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals

Requirements

• Eligible candidates must have a high school degree/GED
• Current driver’s license with less than three points on their driving record.
