Requirements
- No experience? No problem! – We provide paid training
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow care plans
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification – Don’t have? No problem – we can provide
Responsibilities
- Support daily routines – Assist with meal prep, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Engage with participants – Foster a supportive and positive living environment
- Encourage independence – Help participants build life skills and confidence
- Be a mentor – Provide guidance and companionship in a meaningful way
- Assist with outings & activities – Support with participating in community events
