As a Direct Support Professional Sub, you will provide hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement to adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. You’ll help residents develop daily living skills, independence, and confidence while creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Requirements

20 years or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass State and Federal Criminal Background Checks
Drug screen, pre-employment physical, and PPD
Complete all required orientation and pre-service training

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as cooking, housekeeping, shopping, budgeting, and hygiene
Support residents in learning social, coping, and community integration skills
Provide guidance on healthy living and personal medical care
Mentor and encourage friendship building and community participation
Promote independence and autonomy while maintaining a safe environment
