About The Position

Advancing Opportunities, an affiliate of Apis Services, is currently seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at our group home in Byram, NJ, supporting adults with disabilities.

As a DSP, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live safe, meaningful, and independent lives in a residential setting.

To achieve full societal participation for all people with disabilities.

Direct Support Professionals provide hands-on care, supervision, mentoring, and guidance to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. Your work will make a meaningful difference by helping individuals gain confidence and life skills.

Requirements

• Must be 20 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to successfully complete: State and Federal criminal background checks
• Drug screening
• Pre-employment physical and PPD
• Willingness to complete all required orientation and pre-service training
