Under the general direction of the Direct Service Manager, a Direct Care Provider is responsible for providing support, guidance, and direction to members attending Community or Center-Based programs. Direct Care Providers offer MIKID licensable services to primary caregivers while supporting the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of members and their families. Services may be provided in the child’s home, a licensed facility, or in the community.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • be at least 21 years old in accordance with medical licensing regulations
  • 6 months of experience in behavioral health or childcare is required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • excellent organizational abilities
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or have the ability to obtain one
  • valid Arizona Driver's License
  • business use vehicle insurance
  • vehicle registration
  • Completion of all necessary paperwork and mandatory training prior to providing services

Nice To Haves

  • prior experience in the behavioral health field
  • demonstrate bilingualism
