About The Position

AMHC is excited to announce the availability of a part time (3 out of 5 days a week) Direct Service Professional (DSP) position at St. John Valley Associates in Madawaska. We are seeking a dedicated individual to work with adults who are developmentally and intellectually disabled. As a DSP, you will support individuals in integrating into the community, encouraging involvement in outside-the-home activities, and helping them build meaningful relationships. We are looking for a motivated, self-starting individual who has a strong work ethic and a passion for connecting with people. DSPs will assist clients in pursuing their interests and fostering community involvement. The successful candidate will demonstrate our core values by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect in their interactions with clients, co-workers, and community members. Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transcription are required.
• Motivated and self-driven with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to connect with individuals and foster positive relationships.
• Passion for assisting others in developing their interests and engaging in community activities.
• Commitment to demonstrating the core values of Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect.

Nice To Haves

• DSP certification is preferred
• US Passport is preferred.

• Collaborate with clients and providers to create individualized, service-focused plans.
