About The Position

Lutheran Services Carolinas has established ourselves as a leader for serving TBI individuals. Lippard Lodge, is located in Clemmons, NC and was LSC's first TBI community. Lippard Lodge has paved the way for additional TBI communities within our organization across North Carolina. Residents of Lippard Lodge receive support from Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) for activities of daily living, as well as educational and recreational opportunities. Residents also work on building functional skills as well as social skills and independent living skills such as money management, shopping, and scheduling appointments. We are hiring Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) that are eager to fulfill their passion in working with those that are vulnerable and deserving of abundant living! Starting pay-$16 Sign on bonus- $1000 Benefits in 30 days (for those offered schedules at least 20 hours per week) Can exchange benefits and PTO package for $3 increase to base hourly rate (rate of pay would increase to $19.00). Paid Time Off (for those offered schedules at least 20 hours per week) Can exchange PTO option for $3 increase as indicated above. Professional development opportunities Tuition assistance Daily Pay- receive your pay as you earn it! No waiting until pay day! Must be available to work some weekends each month. Schedule is 7 days on/7 days off.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or GED
  • Minimum age 21
  • Eager to learn and quick to adapt
  • Caring and compassionate
  • Dependable, responsible, and ethical
  • Able to calmly handle stressful situations
  • Able to communicate effectively and legibly in writing
  • Flexible and open-minded
  • Good judgment and decision making skills
  • NC or SC Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience in Human Services field preferred but not required.
