Urology Clinics of North Texas, PLLC was formed in 1999 by a merger of the practices of premier urology groups. Our Mission: To give our patients excellent care and treatment of urological disorders, and to deliver that care courteously, caringly and efficiently. Urology Clinics of North Texas strives to provide highly positive medical outcomes, proven advanced technology and pharmaceuticals. We deliver care in locations convenient to patients throughout the Dallas, Collin, Rockwall, and Tarrant County areas. We are seeking an LVN to join our team. Offering a $1,000 sign on bonus; paid in two payments. The first $500 is paid at 6 months and the second $500 is paid at 1 year. Must be in good standing and receive meeting expectations on evaluations. Position Highlights Work environment: Urology Clinic Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Salary range: DOE Position Summary LVN will maintain patient records, take and record vital signs, ROS, HX, allergies and medications for MIPS, collect blood or urine samples and perform routine lab tests. Communicate results, administer injections and medications/ watching for adverse reactions to medications. Assist during examinations as necessary, cleaning and changing of dressings as needed, monitoring patients conditions, perform catheterizations, prepared and positioned patients for procedures, set up and maintain equipment along with sterilizing medical equipment and exam rooms, explain procedures and treatments as needed, working with the patient and the families of patients to educate them how to provide follow-up and preventative care, coordinate patient care plan with physician, complete discharge planning and reinforce physicians' instructions on invasive/un-invasive procedures, surgical procedures and post-surgical conditions, scheduling/ rescheduling appointments as necessary, schedule/ reschedule surgeries, answering phones for triage patients/ hospitals/ doctors, work flow (tasks, voicemail, charting), help manage OSHA, assist supervising Medical Assistants, train new medical staff as needed. Worked cohesively with multiple staff members to effectively provide the highest level of nursing care to all patients, demonstrate ability to assist staff in emergency code situations, build trusting relationships with patients, family members, medical staff, and administrative personnel at each assigned location.

Requirements

  • Accredited school of practical nursing (Required)
  • LVN or LPN- Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire (Required)
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (Required) And

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 years of experience as a LVN highly preferred
  • Urology and/or Ob/Gyn
  • NextGen or similar EMR's

Responsibilities
