About The Position

Join Mark VII and help shape the future of manufacturing. Mark VII is seeking a driven Direct Sales Representative to join our team and help shape the future of manufacturing. In this role, you will be the face of the company, focusing on achieving sales objectives within the car wash equipment industry. The ideal candidate is an energetic, ambitious and passionate professional committed to exceeding sales quotas and building lasting customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5+ years in sales with a proven track record of success (experience in machine sales is preferred)
  • Significant experience cold calling, prospecting, and closing sales
  • This role requires travel to various sites. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a history of safe driving as demonstrated by a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Strong knowledge of business plans, budgeting and developing strategies for market penetration
  • Understanding financial reports, including contribution margins, profit and loss statements, budgeting and return on investment calculations
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are a must
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint) and Salesforce

Nice To Haves

  • experience in machine sales is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Successfully acquire new accounts and retain existing accounts in your sales territory
  • Implement our sales strategy, and coordinate and plan your sales activities using state-of-the-art CRM software
  • Apply consultative selling techniques, which includes performing site analyses, creating business cases and presentations, and managing metrics for customers and prospects, to address their needs with the right solutions
  • Serve as primary contact, sought after expert and customer advocate both internal and external for assigned and new accounts
  • Be an expert in the car wash industry and on all Mark VII/WashTec product offerings
