About The Position

This role is ideal for a dynamic sales leader who thrives in driving growth and building high-performing teams. The Direct Sales Manager will lead an inside sales team, managing both inbound and outbound strategies to increase account penetration, expand product diversity, and acquire new customers. You will serve as a mentor and coach to your team, fostering a culture of accountability, development, and results. This position requires collaboration with marketing, product, and operations teams to align campaigns and sales messaging with business priorities. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, including data-driven decision-making and process optimization. You will have the opportunity to represent the sales team externally, drive digital adoption, and shape a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible professional experience, with at least 2 years in sales leadership or management
  • Proven track record of managing high-performing inside sales teams and driving revenue growth
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and strong data-driven decision-making skills
  • Background in dental, medical device, or B2B healthcare sales preferred
  • Experience implementing or managing eCommerce-driven sales initiatives is a plus
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities to develop talent
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities for sales campaigns
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor, interpret, and act on sales metrics
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Edge Direct Sales Consultants to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Design and execute outbound sales campaigns to acquire new accounts and re-engage former customers
  • Oversee inbound sales operations, ensuring customer inquiries are converted into revenue-generating opportunities
  • Increase account retention and product diversity through targeted initiatives and relationship management
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement campaigns, track performance, and ensure consistent messaging
  • Promote and integrate eCommerce solutions to drive digital ordering adoption
  • Monitor and report on sales metrics, pipeline health, and team performance
  • Provide coaching, training, and feedback to enhance individual and team capabilities
  • Represent the sales team at trade shows and industry events to support lead generation and account development
