About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Worker to join our team. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and assisting with mobility.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation: Assist with planning, preparing, and serving meals.
• Housework/Chore: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and other chores.
• Managing Medications: Assist with medication reminders and management.
• Transportation: Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Hygiene: Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Dressing: Assist with dressing and undressing, ensuring client comfort and appropriateness.
• Locomotion: Assist with mobility, including walking, using stairs, and transferring from one place to another.
• Eating: Assist with feeding and meeting nutritional needs.
• Phone Use: Assist with making phone calls as needed.
