About The Position

We’re hiring a Direct Care Worker to provide high-quality, compassionate care to individuals in residential programs and intermediate care facilities across Pennsylvania. As a Direct Care Worker, you’ll support individuals with daily living, medication administration, and skill development to help them achieve greater independence. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to ensuring that residents are supported in a respectful and dignified manner.

Requirements

At least 18 years old
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a good driving record

Nice To Haves

Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to individuals residing in residential and intermediate care facilities
Assist in training new staff to ensure consistent service delivery
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations and internal policies
Administer medication and ensure proper documentation and tracking of all medications
Encourage the development of life skills to promote independence
Support residents in participating in community activities and daily routines
