About The Position

Mariah's Family Care Home (MFCH) operates a family of group homes that provide supportive services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our programs help residents build skills and live successfully in home and community settings. We are hiring Full-Time Direct Care Aides for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. In this role, you will support residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and help manage behavioral and mental health needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to follow structured routines

Nice To Haves

• Experience in mental health or behavioral care (preferred)
• CBRF certification (preferred)
• Valid driver's license (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Provide care, support, and supervision for residents with behavioral needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, mental, and emotional health
• Teach and reinforce coping skills and appropriate behaviors
• Assist with personal hygiene, meals, and housekeeping
• Support bathroom needs and incontinence care as needed
• Run errands (e.g., groceries, household supplies)
• Engage residents in recreational and social activities
• Transport/accompany residents to appointments and outings
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
