About The Position

JOB SUMMARY
Oversees the administration, management and coordination of the overall activities of the Rehab Department.
Responsible for the total operation of the rehabilitation inpatient nursing and ancillary therapy programs. Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating program activities to ensure that company and client goals are met. Must demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Graduate of a state approved school of professional nursing practice.
• Maintains current RN License in the State of Texas.
• Three (3) years of Leadership experience performing related duties/work.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Continued employment is contingent on successfully maintaining current required certification(s) and/or license(s).
• Knowledge of the principles, procedures and regulations governing Medicare/JHACO/HIPPA Standards.
• Previous general and supervisory experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Three (3) years experience in Rehab functions preferred.
• Strong financial and marketing experience preferred.
