ABOUT THIS ROLE The Associate Director, Publisher Relations – LatAm, based in Newark, US, reporting directly to the Publisher Relations Director ES&LATAM, will oversee publisher relationships, negotiations, and catalogue performance for our audiobook vendors in the Spanish speaking Latin American markets such as US, Mexico and other upcoming new marketplaces, and will be a key strategic partner in overseeing publisher relationships, deal structures, and business development initiatives across all the Latin American markets, to help deliver the leading spoken word catalogue for our audience in the respective marketplaces. Publisher relationships will be cultivated in close coordination with our global content teams in the US, EU and BR. In this role, you will lead negotiations, develop innovative deals, and implement strategic projects that drive growth for Audible's content portfolio in LATAM. You will bring analytical rigor, high negotiation skills, and creative solutions to publisher partnerships, while demonstrating the ability to understand cultural nuances across different LATAM marketplaces. Your expertise in managing cross-functional initiatives will strengthen Audible's market position across regions, as you seamlessly navigate between diverse publishing ecosystems and adapt strategies to local market dynamics. ABOUT YOU You imagine what’s possible and understand the impact of building systems and strategies based on deep data analysis and strategic finance insights. You are an experienced negotiator and build, influence and maintain relationships with publishing partners by impacting and making business decisions and undertaking creative solution finding. You are able to structure and execute complex deals, with strong analytical capabilities and exceptional stakeholder management skills. You thrive in collaborative environments while maintaining the confidence to represent Audible in high-stakes negotiations.
