About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the transportation and logistics services and solutions for assigned customers. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader for our outsourced logistics service offerings, with a focus on long-term contract growth and operational excellence. This position will shape complex deals with Business Development, execute best-in-class logistics processes, and drive the success of our managed transportation and logistics services portfolio—particularly in inbound logistics, raw material flows, and manufacturing supply chains. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in 3PL/4PL services, a proven track record of executing large-scale outsourcing contracts, and a growth mindset to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Essential Functions Leadership: Manage and direct resources to maintain/grow customer satisfaction, customer value and profitable customer relationships Operations Oversight: Oversee day-to-day performance of managed logistics operations, ensuring cost efficiency, KPI adherence, and continuous improvement. Client Relationship Management: Serve as operational leader for major accounts; ensure delivery excellence, value realization, and long-term client satisfaction. Handle contract negotiations, implementation, and communications Execute: Implement and execute scalable, data-driven customer solutions. Redesign workflows and leverage technology to drive efficiency and consistency across inbound and manufacturing logistics networks. Growth & Innovation: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand service offerings within existing accounts and new markets. Bring a forward-thinking, innovative mindset to evolving client challenges Leadership & Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of logistics professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of competitive trends and industry shifts to maintain a differentiated value proposition. QualificationsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, transportation or related field or equivalent experience 7 years of experience in Managed Transportation, Logistics Operations and/or business development, preferably in bulk liquid industryProven success in deal shaping and executing large-scale outsourced contracts. Strong background in process engineering and operational optimization. Demonstrated experience with inbound logistics, raw material flows, and manufacturing logistics Effective leadership, communication (verbal and written), organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, problem analysis and resolution, and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office 20-50% travel Preferred Experience Prior experience working at or competing with 3PL/4PL providers Familiarity with supply chain technologies, TMS/WMS platforms, and performance analytics tools. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, transportation or related field or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of experience in Managed Transportation, Logistics Operations and/or business development, preferably in bulk liquid industry
  • Proven success in deal shaping and executing large-scale outsourced contracts.
  • Strong background in process engineering and operational optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience with inbound logistics, raw material flows, and manufacturing logistics
  • Effective leadership, communication (verbal and written), organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, problem analysis and resolution, and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • 20-50% travel

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working at or competing with 3PL/4PL providers
  • Familiarity with supply chain technologies, TMS/WMS platforms, and performance analytics tools.
