The Director of Hispanic Ministry supports the coordination of all areas of Hispanic ministry within the Diocese of Charlotte. This role is crucial in promoting the participation and full inclusion of Hispanic Catholics into the local life of their parish and of the universal Church by collaborating with pastors and parish leaders to address their pastoral needs. The director, together with the bishop, presbyteral council, local pastors, and other curial offices, is responsible for developing programs that respond to the reality and needs of the Hispanic faithful. About the Diocese The Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte encompasses 2,750 personnel across 93 parishes and missions (of which 80% offer at least one Mass in Spanish) and 20 Catholic schools in 46 counties of western North Carolina, with a growing Catholic population of more than 565,000.
