Dining Student Ambassador
About The Position
Campus Enterprises Mission: Campus Enterprises is NC State University’s division of retail and hospitality organizations — NC State Dining, NC State Stores, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, NC State Student Centers (Witherspoon and Talley), and the One Card Office. Each department is dedicated to providing service excellence, value, and enrichment of the student experience in support of academic success. Purpose: This position will help the Director of Nutrition and the NC State Dining team create a safer environment for students with dietary restrictions. The student in this role will provide candid feedback about their experience as a student with dietary restrictions.
Requirements
- Currently on an NC State Dining meal plan, or is an active user of NC State Dining locations
- Passionate about creating awareness for students with dietary restrictions
- Interest in food and nutrition
Responsibilities
- Provide constructive feedback about NC State Dining's options for special diets, including but not limited to: Gluten-Free options, allergen-free options, vegan/vegetarian options, and more
- Assist with the improvement of Gluten-Free options, safety protocols, and training
- Perform secret shipping, product sampling, and meet with the dining team as needed.
