As Dining Services Supervisor, you’ll drive the day-to-day success of our 12 dining sites—creating exceptional experiences for seniors while leading a team that’s passionate about making a difference. Requirements

  • 3 years of leadership experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail with a passion for service
  • Strong reasoning to ensure compliance with federal, state, and grant requirements, including maintaining or obtaining ServSafe certification
  • Data, systems, and financial awareness to make informed decisions and recommendations
  • Experience with technology and systems, including Microsoft Office and database tools
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Champion a mission-driven culture by building meaningful relationships with clients, volunteers, and partners, while modeling the values that guide MOWWM’s work
  • Use your 3 years of leadership experience to coach and develop a high-performing team—using strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills to foster accountability, engagement, and growth
  • Own the day-to-day dining services operation, balancing multiple priorities with strong time management and organizational skills to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for seniors by combining attention to detail with a passion for service—overseeing meal quality, site environments, and engaging activities
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to advance strategic goals and expand community impact
  • Navigate complex regulations with confidence, applying strong reasoning to ensure compliance with federal, state, and grant requirements, including maintaining or obtaining ServSafe certification
  • Manage budgets and resources thoughtfully, using data, systems, and financial awareness to make informed decisions and recommendations
  • Keep teams aligned and informed through clear, consistent communication—leading meetings, managing schedules, and ensuring everyone has what they need to succeed
  • Strengthen and streamline operations by leveraging technology and systems, including Microsoft Office and database tools, to support efficiency and growth
  • Stay hands-on and proactive in the field—conducting site visits, solving problems in real time, and continuously improving quality across locations
  • Represent MOWWM in the community with professionalism and passion, building partnerships and staying connected to industry trends
  • Travel throughout Kent and Allegan Counties to support teams, strengthen operations, and ensure a consistent, high-quality experience at every site-requiring a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
