Dining Services Assistant
About The Position
Otterbein has immediate openings for Dining Services Assistants, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling options, including day and evening shifts. This role is crucial for providing residents with well-prepared, attractive, and timely meals in a restaurant-style, home-like atmosphere. The organization is a non-profit 501(c)(3) health and human service organization, focused on serving residents across its lifestyle communities, small house neighborhoods, home health, and hospice care in Ohio and Indiana.
Requirements
- At least 3 months' experience in food service
- Ability to avoid food waste
- Ability to meet meal schedules and serving times
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Serve meals for all resident’s diet orders
- Measure and portion foods accurately
- Clean and maintain the kitchen facility in a safe and sanitary manner
- Perform dish washing of pots, pans and other designated items
- Check in and put away stock/supply orders
- Perform other related duties as assigned
