About The Position

At Fairmount Homes, mealtime is more than food—it’s comfort, community, and care. As a Dining Server, you’ll help create a warm, welcoming environment while serving residents in our skilled nursing and personal care areas. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills alongside our talented Wheat Ridge cooks.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling practices (we’ll train you!)
• Good personal hygiene and professional appearance
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
• A positive, respectful, and team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks with preparing and serving quality meals while following safety and sanitation standards
• Deliver hot and cold foods, beverages, and nourishments to residents and designated locations
• Serve meals in collaboration with nursing team members in Healthcare and Personal Care areas
• Prepare toast, coffee, and beverages for meals
• Portion and serve sandwiches, salads, fruit, desserts, and condiments
• Set tables, clear dishes, and sanitize dining areas after meals
• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment
• Stock and organize kitchen supplies as needed
