About The Position

Sedgebrook offers a unique opportunity to work with seniors and be part of a company investing in the future of senior living. Sedgebrook is seeking a hospitality-focused Dining Room Supervisor to help lead their Dining Room and Bistro operations. This role supports daily service execution while ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and sanitation. The supervisor will assist with scheduling, training, team oversight, and step in to provide operational coverage as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of dining room or food service experience, including service and sanitation.
Ability to supervise and support a large, hospitality-focused dining team.
Comfortable operating and training on POS systems.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality experience preferred.
Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Serv-Safe sanitation certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver a warm, professional, and resident-focused dining experience.
Support daily dining service operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing training.
Provide input for employee performance feedback and corrective actions, as needed.
Maintain clear communication with managers and team members.
Operate and support training on POS systems.
Assist with setup and execution of special resident and staff events
Ensure service areas meet cleanliness, sanitation and safety standards at all times.
